 As Women in Ministry, we are well aware that women love to get together and we are serious about finding ways to help make that happen. Recently we have taken a few steps back to consider what a “Special Event” actually is in relation to Women’s Ministry today.  There was a time when a Women’s Special Event was something that only happened once, maybe twice a year.  We want to change that.

Any time that we can get two or three together we consider that a Special Event! Our goal primarily is to help women connect with each other.  It’s important for us to take a moment out of our busy schedules and be reminded of what’s truly important: each other.

 Here’s a little bit about what we are currently doing… 

Mugs & Muffins is an opportunity for women of all ages and stages of life to gather in the home of one our our ladies on selected Saturday mornings throughout the year.  A portion of the morning is devoted to hearing a testimony from someone who has been asked to share with the group.  One of the highlights of our time together is when we share with each other any special significance that our mug has for us.  This part of our time together always proves to be what makes Mugs & Muffins really special.

Women’s Bible Study is an opportunity for women of all ages to get together and open God’s Word together.

We currently have Women’s Wednesday Study Groups that meet regularly from 6:30-7:30 in an upstairs classroom in the church building (800 S. Main) and also Women’s Thursday Bible Study groups that meet in the morning from 9:00-11:00 am and in the evening from 6:30-8:30 in the Lighthouse (801 S. Main) for a spring session from January – April and a fall session from August – October.  We keep our options open in the summer.

The format of our groups may vary from time to time, but our purpose remains steadfast:   to help women grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.
